Job Description

    As an Early Years Facilitator at KLAY Centre for Child Development and Care, your primary responsibility will be to create a fun and enriching learning environment that caters to the cognitive, physical, personal, social, and emotional developmental needs of the children under your care. Additionally, you will be expected to be a collaborative team player, serving as a role model for your fellow teachers and staff by embodying the core values and code of conduct of KLAY throughout your interactions with children, parents, and vendors.Your key responsibilities will include delivering engaging learning sessions based on the approved lesson plans, ensuring that classes are both educational and enjoyable for the children. You will be required to meticulously plan activities in advance, implement the lesson plans effectively, and maintain detailed records for each child. It is essential to utilize available resources efficiently and minimize wastage while enhancing the visual appeal of the classroom with age-appropriate displays and learning materials.Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in adhering to school policies, maintaining open communication with parents, conducting regular observations and assessments of the children, and organizing various events and trips in alignment with the Events Calendar. Your focus on ensuring the safety, health, hygiene, and security of the children will be paramount, along with providing guidance and feedback to assistant teachers and support staff as needed.To qualify for this role, you must have a minimum of 15 years of education, which can include a combination of PUC with any graduation, a 3-year diploma, or PUC with NTT/MTT/Early childhood development courses.
