Job Description

    *As a Process Engineer at onsemis premier 200mm manufacturing facility, you will work in a dynamic team environment and assist in development and transfer of new technologies as well as perform sustaining activities. Each day you will be challenged by working on a diverse set of tools and processes with a world-class team.Specific responsibilities include:
    • Understand all processes and procedures in the applicable area and apply knowledge to drive efficient processes
    • Understand and apply SPC principles
    • Prioritize production support with other activities
    • Manage the disposition of non-conforming material
    • Participate in planning and execution of experiments and development projects
    • Respond in an appropriate and timely manner to out of control process conditions
    • Communicate, verbally and in writing, established processing procedures to production
    • Actively drive continuous improvement activities such as yield improvement, throughput optimization, and cost reduction
    • Perform advanced data analysis
    • Perform most responsibilities in a factory environment, actively engaged with Operators, Technicians and Engineers
    , *Requirements:
    • Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemical, Electrical, Material Science, Physics, or other related engineering discipline
    • Minimum of 5 years of fab experience
    • ETCH area: Experience with LAM Etch and/or Ulvac Ash processes and equipment
    Specific Skills required:
    • Fundamental understanding of the science related to semiconductor Fab processes
    • Fundamental understanding of semiconductor device physics
    • Fundamental understanding of practical SPC and DOE methodology
    • Fundamental understanding of yield improvement, throughput and cost reduction, preferably in a lean manufacturing
    • environment
    • Fundamental understanding of standard metrology, inspection, and failure analysis methods and their applications
    • Advanced data analysis skills, must be able to quickly learn and apply various software applications
    • Must be energetic, self-motivated, and results oriented
    • Must possess articulate written and verbal communication skills
    • Must work well in a team environment
