Job Description

    * Senior Associate, Java FS Production Support Engineer, Middle Office Technology Business Function Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Banks operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. Requirements
    • Strong analytical background with sense of responsibility and urgency, strong problem-solving skills and able to work under pressure
    • Should possess excellent understandings in programming
    • Proactive in reaching out to business/customers to understand the requirements or processes, should able to automate on SRE toils
    • Exposure in using DevOps Tools, Incident and Change Management tools (Remedy, JIRA, etc)
    • Should be flexible work in shifts/production support.
    • Collaborate closely with other internal technical teams/business users in investigating, testing and deployments
    • Responsible for handling Release Management, raising Change Request and scheduling for the implementation of fixes and enhancements.
    • Root cause analysis, management communication and client relationship management in partnership with Infrastructure Service Support team members.
    • Ensures all production changes are made in accordance with life-cycle methodology and risk guidelines.
    • Drive SRE automations, Business problem mgmt., Daily Batch issues
    • Helping Prod team to grow further and bring application stability on priority
    • Support Business users and Dev team on need basis.
    • Should be able to handle multiple apps service delivery.
    Roles & Responsibilities
    • Having hands-on experience in Spring-Core, MVC,AOP, Sprint Boot and Spring data concepts.
    • Mandatory experience in SQL concepts with good RDMS exposure.
    • Mandatory hands-on experience in Java and unit testing.
    • Mandatory experience in Micro service concepts with good REST API exposure.
    • Preferrable exposure to design patterns.
    • Preferrable hands-on Angular UI framework. Angular5+ is highly preferred.
    • Preferrable experience in core concepts of JS, HTML5 and CSS
    • Preferrable exposure in build, configuration and pipeline management concepts using Jenkins.
    • Preferrable Experience in Unix shell scripting
    • Preferrable to have experience in cloud based technologies like PCF or AWS, S3
