Job Description

    Do you relish the opportunity to work on multiple projects and impact key business objectives Would the opportunity to assess needs and deliver successful programs excite you Join our growing Program Management Office team!Our team of Program Managers will be directly aligned with the Information Security Program Management Office (IS PMO) to facilitate the successful program launches and project completions.Partner with the bestAs a Program Manager Associate you will collaborate cross-functionally to support and successfully execute our programs.As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for:
    • Working closely with cross-functional teams to plan and develop scope, required resources, and execution of project deliveries
    • Being responsible for the administration and coordination of the teams Programs in Planview.
    • Identifying & managing key requirements & communications needed from cross-functional teams.
    • Managing program risks and possible mitigation strategies alone & with other program managers in the department.
    • Tracking, following up on process dependencies and communicating status to upper management and required stakeholders within Akamai
    • Adopting best-practice guidelines to influence and implement continuous improvements to the processes
    • Demonstrating initiative, learning quickly from senior staff, and collaborating fully as a member of a team
    Do what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:
    • Have 2+ years of Program/ Project Management and a bachelors degree or demonstrate relevant, equivalent experience.
    • Have 1+ years Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool administrator experience (Planview Enterprise One).
    • Have experience in process improvement whether in a business or technical environment
    • Have exceptional time management, facilitation, and organizational skills.
    • Be able to effectively communicate in business English both written and verbal.
    • Be able to adapt quickly and respond to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
    • Demonstrate a passion for excellence through sound judgment, solid decision making and contingency planning.
    • Have effective analytical skills with knowledge of creating dashboards and reporting
