Job Description

    Reports Developer:Roles and Responsibilities 1. Responsible for developing, maintaining and supporting Reporting Application using Jasper Reports (Jasper Soft) Tool with MS Sql Server and/or Oracle Databases. 2. Develop/Modify T-SQL stored procedures to pull data from heterogeneous databases into MS Sql Server. 3. Analyse and Troubleshoot performance issues in the Reporting Application and underlying SQLs. 4. Gather, document and convert functional reporting requirements into technical solutions. 5. Develop thorough understanding of data models, underlying data, and business uses to ensure reports meet client needs. 6. Create test cases, test data and work with QA team to ensure accurate and complete testing and Create technical documentation of report logic and processes.Skills 1. Minimum 5 to 8 years hands-on experience with Jasper Reports (5.6x) or later version using iReport Designer. 2. Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with MS Sql Server (T-SQL). 3. Thorough understanding of Version Control and Reports deployment procedures on Web Server. 4. Good knowledge of Oracle and Oracle PL/SQL. 5. Ability to work in an Onsite-Offshore model, escalate issues timely and seek guidance as necessaryAdditional Information Should possess excellent listening and communication skills Should possess good analytical and troubleshooting skills Self-driven and able to work independently or within a team,
