Job description: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Generic Responsibilities Understand the CORE areas Understand relevant company policies Develop subject-matter experience in the concerned support area Act as a POC for support area Understand and suggest process improvements in the support area Support LTO/CIO in development of new tool or enhancement of existing ones Assist team in drafting checklists and process documents Directly liaison with internal stakeholders on various issues Manage SharePoint and communication records Identify and support any specific trainings for the team Support implementation of new initiatives in CORE support area or within Legal/GLN Build credible and effective relationships with onshore counsels and within GLN team Support recruitment efforts for the team Supervise resources, and assist GLN Team Lead in people management, as required Provide coaching and mentoring to junior members of the team Provide teammates with positive and developmental feedback Draft templates (if required) for the region supported with approval from Legal services team Understand process improvements in CORE support area and assist team in drafting checklists and process documents Directly liaise with internal stakeholders and deal teams on various legal issues Assist in negotiation and drive closure of contracts for high complexity deals Legal research Commit to give back to GLN/Legal Specific Responsibilities aligned to Role Risk & Compliance Act as the first point of escalation for support area Establish strong credibility and relationship with legal/legal services team and with business and/or external Clients Assist in contributing trainings, ongoing QA and QC of the work undertaken by the team members Competent understanding of Code of Business Ethics (COBE), Data Privacy, Anti-Corruption Laws and apply the same to ensure compliance in the work. Directly liaising with internal stakeholders and deal teams on various legal issues Provide training/on job training to the new joiners of the Procurement team Provide individuals with positive and developmental feedback Draft, negotiate, review policies, rules, privacy disclaimer notices, consent forms global initiatives, Data Privacy, EU model clauses, Data transfer Agreements and other documents/Agreements relevant to India related Risk and Compliance and performing specific research based on internal Client requirements Sound research skills Assist in Addressing queries from various stakeholders on applicability and interpretation of state, central applicable law, rule and regulations Review terms of membership of groups, entities before Accenture enrolls itself. Coordinate with external counsels for various opinions, on election, new law or regulations Corporate Real Estate Drafting, reviewing and vetting of all Real Estate transactional documents done by legal team Provide assistance in negotiating Proposals, Statement of Work and other contracts with internal client and external client when needed Conducting legal title due diligence for any new or potential Accenture campus. Maintain contract/subcontract compliance in line with company policies and procedures and ensure issues are resolved and escalate to line manager with issues Identifying risks and mitigation measures in any real estate transactions. Support DCN Legal in real-estate matters Workplace Provide assistance on matters related to - Enquiries, notices and investigations by authorities in relation to facility occupation & operations Identification, management and mitigation of risks arising out of workplace operations Good practices by preparing whitepapers, standard documents and managing risks with focus on legal compliances. Global Asset Protection Provide legal assistance in GAP and other corporate functions on identification, management and mitigation of foreseeable and potential risks arising from incident(s) pertaining to Accenture as an organization, brand, employees, assets and clients. Instances judicial pronouncements, public unrest, data theft, sexual harassment, etc. Provide legal assistance in matters related to Enquiries, investigations and visits by law enforcement agencies in relation to Accenture or its employees or third-party related incidents or issues pertaining to personal matters. Instances fake recruitments, cybercrime, social media use, matrimonial matters, etc. Provide support on ongoing or potential litigation matters with external support.,
