To automate new products and/or enhance existing products. Akamais Next Generation portal is used to deliver an exceptional end user experience in interacting with Akamai solutions while providing a platform that enables Akamai as well as third parties to rapidly deliver innovative products and features in a distributed development model.As a Software Development Engineer in Test Senior, you will be responsible for:
• Evaluating and testing new product features according to business and functional requirements while identifying potential risks.
• Working closely with developers to create comprehensive test plans to meet product requirements
• Automating tests for major releases or within Agile sprints for Akamai products
• Developing new approaches to solve problems identified during Quality Engineering activities
• Working in tandem with other engineers to build advanced automated frameworks to deliver and exercise our world-class applications
Do what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:
• Have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electronics or related discipline.
• Have 4 to 8 years of software test automation experience using Python
• Have experience in manual and automated testing . Have experience RESTful Web Services and HTTP proxies, HTTP and HTTPS Protocols, web servers and databases (SQL).
• Have expereience in testing using different QA Methodologies (black-box, white-box and gray-box)
• Have experience in identifying and formulating test cases for both web UIs and backends
• Have good command of Selenium WebDriver and TestNG, including Page Object design patterns and Selenium Grid configurations
