Youll be an essential contributor to our Sales leadership. We are looking for candidates who are experts in outbound lead qualification, understand top-of-the-funnel and pipeline processes and metrics, and prioritize and excel at coaching, enabling, and motivating a team of SDRs.This is a fully remote role. You can work onsite if desired in our San Jose, CA, or Charlotte, NC offices.What you ll be doing in this role:
    • In this role, you will assist in hiring, training, onboarding, and coaching to improve the quality of the pipeline
    • Implement an SDR training/enablement curriculum ensuring new hires are onboarded successfully, and training needs are fulfilled for the existing team members
    • As Sales Development Manager, your mission is to build, lead, coach, develop, and grow a sales development team of 8+ individuals (Primarily Outbound focused)
    • The ideal candidate will be one who can effectively coach, encourage and incentivize SDRs to succeed in their role.
    • You will be coaching a team who are both new in their career and will need feedback, guidance, regular check-ins, and tenured individuals.
    • Success in this position will require leadership, creativity, and coordination skills to execute the sales development function to drive revenue growth.
    • Ensure that the team consistently hits goals and generates new, high-quality sales qualified prospects for our company
    • Utilize data to identify opportunities for improvement in process & execution within the Sales Development organization; Design and implement solutions that drive greater operational rigor and efficiency.
    • Work closely with the Marketing/Demand Gen team to provide feedback on campaigns
    • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing Leadership team to improve opportunity management and qualification processes
    • Work closely with Sales to identify areas of improvement for the SDR Teams
    • Accurately forecasts weekly, monthly, and quarterly attainment
    • Oversee usage of team systems, including Salesforce, Hubspot, Salesloft, etc.
    • Manage the inbound lead flow and track efficiency of sales and marketing programs
    • Refine the sales pitch and process to achieve optimum results
    We are looking for people who have:
    • 1+ years of B2B sales management/SDR management experience with a team of 4+
    • 3+ years of sales experience Strong Outbound calling experience
    • Self-starter with proven success as a sales leader
    • Experience selling EdTech or selling into the K-12/SLED market preferred but not mandatory
    • Experience as a K-12 Educator or in K-12 administration is beneficial but not required
    • Deep experience with SalesForce, Salesloft, Gong, or similar tools
