Job Description

    *Onsemi Quantenna Connectivity Solutions in San Jose is responsible for the development and delivery of the world class Wi-Fi product from conception to mass production. There is an immediate need for a creative, bright, motivated Sr. Principal Software engineer with expertise in 802.11 protocols and embedded software development in meeting the growing demands of our worldwide customer base.
    • Active participation in design and development of firmware for QCS Wi-Fi chipsets
    • Development and support of IEEE802.11compliant stack on QCS solutions
    • Work on performance optimizations and Linux kernel improvements through profiling tools and code analysis
    • Evaluate, root cause issues and follow up on customer issues
    • Participate in events organized by industry standard bodies such as WFA
    , *
    • Bachelor or Master in CS or related disciplines with over 10 years experience in embedded software development
    • Demonstrated programming proficiency using C language
    • Must have in depth knowledge of IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax
    • Good understanding of Linux kernel and network device drivers
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills desired
    • Good team player with ability to collaborate with remote teams
