Quantrix is incubated inside of an established and well-run international organization, IDBS and is a part of Danaher operating companies.We are looking for a Web Software Developer who will be an integral part of the Web development team. This is a remote opportunity.In this position you will:
• Carry out implementation of functionality in code in correspondence with functional specifications and design documentation with minimal supervision.
• Work to the development quality process throughout software project lifecycles.
• Develop and maintain unit test frameworks and unit test cases, ensuring that these provide adequate developer validation of code quality before release to test team.
• Take part in code reviews and test reviews.
• Play a key role in project task breakdown and in the generation of estimates for project tasks.
• Stay aware & promote new technologies, platforms, and best practices.
What we are looking for:
• Experience in design, development, and delivery of applications using a web-based front end and a multi-tiered back end consisting of integrated cloud-based application servers, micro-services and a variety of data sources
• A working knowledge of web server and client languages and frameworks, with experience in Java and JavaScript
• Experience in the use and development of REST APIs
• Familiarity with the development secure software, including a good understanding of the OWASP top-10 and how these are applied
• Understanding of build & deployment mechanisms, techniques, and software for CI & CD
• Strong self-motivation with strong interpersonal communication and influencing skills
• Understanding of software engineering methodologies, software development lifecycles, and software quality processes
