Role Overview:You will be responsible for managing Global Materials Management activities including intercompany inventory stock transfer analysis and distribution to ensure adequate inventory levels at global sites. You will also coordinate and support SAP automation activities for process enhancement.Key Responsibilities:- Support Global Materials Management activities such as intercompany inventory stock transfer, analysis, and distribution to maintain adequate inventory levels at global sites.- Manage, coordinate, and execute custom parts MRP generated requirements to support customer on-time delivery.- Coordinate with various departments for intercompany stock transfer item clarifications, specifically for custom parts.- Develop and monitor intercompany stock transfer inventory plans to support customer delivery requirements and forecasts.- Collaborate with the intercompany supply chain team globally to expedite materials for urgent requirements and provide timely feedback.- Support purchase order automation activities to streamline processes and maintain accurate master data for automation.- Collaborate with the SAP team to enhance SAP functionality and conduct user acceptance tests.- Issue stock transfer orders timely and maintain accurate delivery dates and quantities in SAP.- Work closely with Planners, Supervisors, and Managers to ensure procured material availability to support shop floor requirements.- Provide timely updates on parts availability to Final Assembly Planner, Master Scheduler, and other team members to ensure sales order on-time delivery.- Maintain SAP item master data accuracy such as lot size, Safety Stock, MRP Type, lead times, etc.- Create intercompany stock transfer deliveries with detailed inventory analysis and manage global inventory stock plan.- Measure and manage KPIs and inter-company delivery performance, reviewing past due open items periodically.- Regularly review Exception Messages to control inventory for the assigned MRP controller.- Provide guidance and support for global inventory management optimization initiatives.- Make recommendations for productivity and/or method improvements.- Complete miscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned.- Adhere to Health and Safety Regulations.- Ensure ISO guidelines are followed.Qualifications Required:- BE Mechanical with minimum 3 to 5 years of materials management, inventory, and production planning experience in a manufacturing environment.- Diploma in Tool & Die making with 6-7 years of experience in Material Management and exposure/certification in SAP Material Management/Production Planning.About the Company:Milacron is a global leader in the manufacture, distribution, and service of highly engineered and customized systems within the $27 billion plastic technology and processing industry.
