Job Description

    Job Summary The Curriculum Developer (Mathematics and Science) will design, develop, and implement an engaging, experiential curriculum for students at the primary and elementary levels. Based in the central office in Delhi, this role requires on-site work with occasional travel to Aditya Birla Group Schools across India for training and implementation. The role involves designing the curriculum to align with the guidelines of NEP 2020 and NCF 2023, adhering to the academic frameworks of affiliated boards, and reflecting the schools commitment to experiential learning and holistic education.Key ResponsibilitiesCurriculum Design and Development: Create and refine curriculum frameworks, lesson plans, and teaching resources for primary and elementary levels, aligning with NEP 2020 and NCF 2023 guidelines and ensuring compatibility with CBSE, State Boards, and ICSE Boards.Integration of Technology: Embed digital tools, e-learning platforms, and hands-on activities (e.g., coding, robotics, or AI-based learning) to enhance student engagement and support technology-enabled learning.Teacher Training and Support: Conduct workshops and training sessions to equip teachers with the skills to deliver the experiential curriculum effectively.Assessment Development: Design formative and summative assessments that emphasize competency-based assessments.Continuous Improvement: Monitor curriculum effectiveness through feedback, student performance data, and emerging educational trends, making revisions to meet board-specific requirements and maintain alignment with national guidelines.Compliance and Standards: Ensure all curriculum materials comply with affiliated boards and national guidelines while supporting Aditya Birla Group Schools commitment to experiential and holistic education.Qualifications and Skills Educational Background: Educational Background: A Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Science, Education, or a related field is required. A Masters degree will be an added advantage.Experience: 3-5 years of experience in curriculum development or teaching at the primary and elementary levels, preferably across CBSE, State Boards, or ICSE Boards.Knowledge of NEP 2020 and NCF 2023: Sound understanding of the National Education Policy 2020 and National Curriculum Framework 2023, with demonstrated ability to develop experiential curricula based on these guidelines.Technical Skills: Strong technical background, including proficiency in educational technology tools, e-learning platforms, and curriculum mapping software. Familiarity with AI, coding, or robotics integration in education is a plus.Curriculum Expertise: In-depth knowledge of curriculum design for primary and elementary levels, with the ability to create engaging, age-appropriate, experiential content that aligns with multiple board standards and NEP/NCF frameworks.Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work on-site in a dynamic, team-oriented environment at the Delhi central office and adapt to frequent travel requirements across India.
