Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:
    1. Payroll Processing: Managing the entire payroll cycle, including entering and updating employee data, calculating wages, and processing payments.
    2. Compliance and Reporting: Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws; preparing and submitting payroll reports to relevant authorities.
    3. Tax and Benefits Administration: Calculating tax deductions, processing benefits contributions, and ensuring accurate withholdings.
    4. Employee Inquiries: Responding to employee questions about payroll, deductions, and benefits.
    5. Data Entry and Maintenance: Updating employee information such as salary changes, new hires, terminations, and promotions.
    6. Auditing Payroll Records: Conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy in payroll records, deductions, and tax filings.
    7. Collaboration with HR and Finance: Working closely with the HR and finance departments to manage payroll budgets, employee records, and benefit plans.
    8. Handling Payroll Adjustments: Processing garnishments, wage adjustments, bonuses, and overtime.
    9. Maintaining Payroll Documentation: Ensuring proper documentation and filing of payroll information for future audits and reporting.
