Job Description

    Job SummaryWe are hiring Electricians, Technicians, and Helpers to support a large-scale DP (Distribution Panel) and Smart Meter Installation Project. Candidates will work in the field to install, test, and maintain smart meters, distribution panels, and related equipment, ensuring safety, accuracy, and compliance with standards.Experience Required: Electrician/Technician: Minimum 13 years in electrical work, preferably in metering or panel installations Helper: Basic knowledge or willingness to be trained; prior field assistance experience is a plusKey ResponsibilitiesElectrician/Technician: Install and wire smart meters and distribution panels as per specifications Perform electrical connections/disconnections safely and accurately Conduct testing and troubleshooting of installed equipment Coordinate with site supervisors and utility staff for live installations Maintain proper documentation of installation data and reports Adhere strictly to electrical safety norms and guidelinesHelper: Assist electricians/technicians with material handling and basic tasks Prepare the site for installations (cleaning, unpacking, organizing tools) Support with ladder holding, tool passing, and wiring under supervision Ensure work area cleanliness and help maintain safety protocolsRequirementsElectrician/Technician: ITI/Diploma in Electrical or relevant field (preferred for technician) Familiarity with smart meter installation and DP wiring Ability to read electrical diagrams and handle field tools Knowledge of electrical safety standards Willingness to travel for field work and work in various weather conditionsHelper: 10th pass or higher Physically fit and able to assist in field installation work Willing to learn on-the-job and follow instructions carefullyPreferred Qualifications Prior experience in utility, power distribution, or smart metering projects Electrical license (for electricians/technicians) Familiarity with handheld meter reading or configuration devicesOther Details Remuneration: Based on experience and role (Electrician/Technician/Helper) Travel Requirement: Frequent travel to installation sitesWorking Hours: As per project requirement, including weekends if necessaryJob Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher, Internship, Contractual / Temporary, FreelanceContract length: 12 monthsBenefits: Cell phone reimbursement Flexible schedule Health insurance Internet reimbursement Leave encashment Life insurance Paid sick time Provident FundSchedule: Day shift Evening shift Monday to Friday Morning shift Rotational shiftPerformance bonusWork Location: In personExpected Start Date: 11/06/2025,
