The Infection Control Nurse will work to identify, monitor, and reduce the risk of infections, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, and visitors.Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control policies and procedures.
    • Conduct regular infection surveillance and audits to identify potential outbreaks and ensure compliance with infection control standards.
    • Provide education and training to healthcare staff on infection prevention techniques, best practices, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
    • Investigate and report infections, outbreaks, and trends, and work with healthcare teams to implement corrective actions.
    • Collaborate with clinical staff and leadership to promote a culture of infection prevention throughout the organization.
    • Stay current with relevant infection control guidelines, regulations, and emerging infectious diseases.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to infection control activities and incidents.
