Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Plan the production as per plan provided by PPC.
    • Coordinate with PPC to plan production as per customer CDD & ensure timely dispatches.
    • As per order coordinate with PPC for timely raising the raw material requirement.
    • Ensure production targets are achieved. Ensure Efficiency targets are achieved. Take necessary steps continuously to improve the productivity. Coordinate with Maintenance to improve the uptime to improve the efficiency.
    • Ensure production as per quality norms.
    • Coordinate with Toolroom for new tool development & regular tool repairs as per forging norms to get max output & timely sample development.
    • Work closely with Purchase deptt to minimize the consumable cost by doing trials of different type of tools, oil, Lubricants 7 other high value consumable items.
    • Build and lead a high-performing Production team capable of meeting customer requirements.
    Requirements:
    • 15 years in Production of Forging with small batch production type manufacturing system.
    • Having good knowledge of Hot Forging with multiple grades of material specially in carbon steel & Stainless steel in close die forging environment using belt drop hammers.
    • Also having experience in machine shop operations using CNC & other conventional machines.
    • Skills and Competencies: Expertise in close die hot forging components with different steel grades. Knowledge of forging flanges, Valve parts for oil & gas industries.
