As an Analyst, Application Engineer at BlackRock, you will be part of the Strategic Initiative team within Outsource Platform Services. Your role involves developing technology solutions and reengineering processes to drive scalability and innovation in the middle office outsourcing business while advancing the teams AI strategy. You will ensure alignment, optimize scalability, and foster innovation throughout the platform ecosystem.Key Responsibilities:- Craft, develop, and deliver technical solutions, including AI-based models, to help the organization scale.- Collaborate with users, designers, developers, and product managers to translate creative builds into working prototypes.- Operate in an agile environment and develop testable software daily, emphasizing incremental innovation.- Solve complex problems in an ever-changing environment, focusing on process optimization, data, and technology.- Work with leading technologies such as AI, Java, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Cassandra, and other languages and open-source technologies.- Committed to open source and contributing back to the community.- Nurture positive connections with colleagues and clients founded on a culture of teamwork and support.Qualifications Required:- A four-year degree specializing in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or similar.- 1 years of experience in Python or Core Java (Spring Framework).- Experience with object-oriented design patterns.- Experience with DevOps tools like Git, Maven, Jenkins, Azure DevOps.- Experience with Agile development concepts and related tools.- Excellent communication and presentation skills.- Ability to work under pressure and take ownership of deliveries.- Ability to work with teams across geography.- Possess a positive attitude, ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, and be curious and flexible.- Continually learn new technologies.About BlackRock:BlackRock is dedicated to creating an environment where employees feel welcomed, valued, and supported with networks, benefits, and development opportunities to help them thrive.
