This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Security Architecture and Design:** - Design and implement robust cybersecurity architectures for AI-driven and geospatial platforms, ensuring security-by-design principles. - Develop secure network designs, encryption protocols, and secure coding practices to protect data at rest and in transit.- **Threat Detection and Response:** - Deploy and manage intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) and SIEM solutions to monitor and respond to security incidents. - Utilize advanced threat hunting techniques, including behavior analytics and machine learning models, to proactively identify potential threats.- **Vulnerability Management:** - Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits using tools like Nessus, OpenVAS, and Metasploit. - Implement patch management strategies to ensure systems are up-to-date with the latest security patches.- **Incident Response and Forensics:** - Lead incident response efforts, analyze attack vectors, and perform digital forensics to prevent future incidents. - Coordinate with internal teams to mitigate threats and implement recovery procedures.- **Cloud Security and Compliance:** - Secure cloud-based deployments on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulations. - Maintain detailed documentation and reporting to meet standards like ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.- **Identity and Access Management (IAM):** - Design and manage IAM frameworks, implement Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions. - Monitor and control access to sensitive systems, enforcing least-privilege access policies.- **Security Automation and DevSecOps:** - Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines, automate security scans, code reviews, and compliance checks. - Develop automated response playbooks using SOAR platforms to reduce response times.- **Security Awareness and Training:** - Conduct security training sessions and awareness programs for employees, focusing on phishing prevention and incident reporting procedures. - Develop educational content to enhance cybersecurity posture.- **Collaboration and Reporting:** - Work with cross-functional teams to embed security measures in all operations. - Prepare detailed security reports and metrics for senior management.**Qualifications:**- **Educational Background:** Bachelors or Masters degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related fields.
