Associate, Security Operations Center

Job Description

As a Security Operation Center (SOC) Analyst at Alvarez & Marsal, you will be part of the Global Security Office (GSO) team, contributing to the global 24x7 SOC environment. Your key responsibilities will include:- Participating in an on-call rotation- Monitoring real-time alerts and mitigating risks- Analyzing security log data from various devices- Providing Incident Response (IR) support- Offering threat and vulnerability analysis- Investigating and reporting on security issues- Integrating and sharing information with other teams- Participating in security projects- Handling other assigned tasks through the ticketing systemQualifications required for this role:- Bachelors degree in Security, Forensics, or Computer Science preferred- Minimum 4 years of experience in security analysis or incident handling- Excellent knowledge of security methodologies and technical solutions- In-depth understanding of network protocols and security applications- Familiarity with common malware threats and attack methodologiesProfessional Certifications preferred:- GCIA, GCIH, GCFE, GCFA, Security, CCNA CyberOps, OSCP, GPEN, GWAPT, CEH, CISSP, or equivalentAt Alvarez & Marsal, we value our employees growth and prioritize their professional and personal development.
