You will need to demonstrate strong independence, deliver quality output, and manage demands from senior stakeholders across geographies, particularly UK clients.**Roles & Responsibilities:**- Support the development of insights through structured market and trend analysis- Utilize traditional and innovative research techniques to address key business questions- Analyze large datasets and visualize findings using tools like Power BI- Contribute to proprietary model updates and generate relevant outputs- Craft compelling research storylines and summaries for senior stakeholders- Present findings in a clear, concise, and insightful manner**Professional & Technical Skills:***Hard skills:*- Strong foundation in financial modeling and analysis, including scenario planning and forecasting- Proficiency in secondary research, company profiling, market sizing, and financial benchmarking- Experience in applying strategic frameworks and evaluating M&A, market, and regulatory trends- Comfortable with using Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) for research and content creation- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience in visualization tools like Power BI- Strong written communication skills to build a clear and persuasive narrative*Soft skills:*- Genuine interest in Banking and Capital Markets, especially around digital and AI transformation- Curious, self-motivated, and open to adopting new tools and research methods- Effective problem-solver with a structured approach to insights and analysis- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in global, virtual, cross-cultural teams- Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with senior audiences- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities across geographies- High levels of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to continuous improvement**Qualifications:**- Bachelors degree in economics, business, finance, or related fields- Full-time masters in business administration, finance, economics, or other relevant areas preferred- Relevant professional qualifications such as CFA, CIMA are advantageous- Prior experience in or for the banking or capital markets industry is beneficial- Experience presenting research virtually to senior-level audiences is desirable- Familiarity with the UK Banking and Capital Markets ecosystem is a strong plusThe role reports to the UK Banking Research Lead.
