Job Description

    Role Overview:You will be a Risk Manager in the Client Service Risk (CSR) team at McKinsey & Company based in Asia. Your role will involve shaping strategies, advising senior leaders, enabling Partners to deliver high impact for clients, and managing risks effectively. You will work closely with various stakeholders to guide client selection and risk management strategies while supporting the implementation of regional strategies within Asia.Key Responsibilities:- Advise Senior Leaders and collaborate with Office Managing Partners, Sector Leaders, and other senior stakeholders to guide client selection and risk management strategies.- Support the Senior Director and Associate Directors of Client Service Risk in implementing regional strategies within Asia.- Shape Risk Approaches, provide day-to-day advice on risk issues, raise awareness among consultants, and identify patterns to develop proactive strategies.- Collaborate Across Teams by partnering with colleagues from different functions (e.g., Communications, Finance, Legal) and groups to address complex challenges.- Gain Broad Exposure by working across various sectors and geographies, building expertise in emerging risk areas, and gaining insights into dynamic industries and jurisdictions.- Support Regional and Global Efforts by helping implement risk strategies in Asia and contributing to global initiatives.- Raise Awareness by leading efforts to improve understanding of risk policies and compliance processes, fostering a culture of proactive risk management across the Firm in Asia.- Enable Innovation by managing risks effectively, thereby helping McKinsey deliver innovative, high-impact solutions for clients.Qualifications Required:- University degree with demonstrated intellectual curiosity through professional training, advanced degree, or professional impact.- 7 years of consulting, law, risk, compliance, communications, or other professional services experience.- Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English language with the ability to tailor messaging based on the audience.- Excellent judgment, exceptional integrity, distinctive interpersonal and collaborative skills.- Entrepreneurial and collaborative attitude, with interest and aptitude for working as part of a diverse global team.- Strong analytical, issue-spotting, and problem-solving skills, demonstrated ability to handle complex, sensitive issues.- Proven interpersonal and influencing skills with an ability to work across all levels of seniority, cultivating trust-based relationships.- Strong project management skills, comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment, and able to manage ambiguity with confidence.
