Job Description

    Key Responsibilities
    • Prepare and deliver theory & practical lessons in Computer Science / ICT / Computer Applications as per syllabus.
    • Plan, design and evaluate assignments, projects, tests, and assessments.
    • Maintain and manage the computer lab (hardware, software, network).
    • Mentor students, provide extra support, monitor progress and give feedback.
    • Stay updated with emerging technologies and integrate into curriculum.
    • Participate in cocurricular / tech clubs / coding competitions / workshops.
    • Collaborate with other teachers to integrate tech into other subjects.
    • Maintain records, grades, attendance, and reports.
    • Supervise lab usage, ensure lab safety, software licenses, backups, etc.
    Qualifications / Requirements
    • Educational Qualification: Masters degree (MSc / MTech / MCA) in Computer Science / Information Technology / relevant stream. B.Ed (or equivalent teaching qualification) preferred / required.
    • Technical Skills / Subject Knowledge: Proficiency in programming languages (e.g. Python, Java, C, etc.). Good knowledge of databases, data structures, algorithms, networking, operating systems, web technologies. Familiarity with ICT tools, educational software, coding platforms, modern pedagogies.
    • Experience:Minimum 2-5 years teaching experience in senior secondary school. Experience handling labs, managing lab infrastructure is a plus.
    • Other Skills / Attributes: Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to connect with students, mentor, motivate. Team player, willingness to engage in cocurricular and extracurricular activities. Adaptability to use new teaching technologies. High level of professionalism, punctuality, integrity.
