Development Team Lead (.Net SQL)

Job Description

Role Overview:This role has been created to serve as a support for the role requirements of senior developers in the Analyst Developer job family. It provides a launching pad for transitioning into more senior roles in the individual contributor and leadership job families. The role also supports delivery obligations to customers and internal stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:- Work with the Testing team in the creation of user story definitions and acceptance criteria- Ensure stories are constructed cohesively and logically to aid smooth implementation and testing- Define the underlying design required within the constraints of the feature/user story to deliver changes- Provide solutions and recommendations for technical issues, ensuring they meet technical specs and design requirements- Help design and build APIs and external system interfaces for integration into core FNZ products and third-party vendor applications- Interpret complex financial business requirements and translate them into high-transactional, secure systems- Advise and influence the design and implementation of user interfaces and financial tools- Consider non-functional requirements like security, reusability, maintainability, and performance- Collaborate with other developers to ensure robust solutions are developed in line with requirements- Adhere to code management procedures, coding standards, and security standards- Write automated unit tests for newly created code and perform manual testing- Promote development team internally and externally, share knowledge, best practices, and technology- Stay up to date with industry practices, new technologies, tools, and methods- Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools to the business- Resolve technical issues that impede development progress and create novel solutions using cutting edge technology- Work across the full stack, with a focus on complex business requirements in financial services and platform domain- Own non-functional requirements and ensure code compliance with coding standards, security, and performanceQualifications Required:- Expertise in Microsoft .NET development products, including .NET, C#, and SQL Server- Proficiency in web development with ASP.NET, JavaScript, and ReactJS- Familiarity with ASP.NET MVC, VB.NET, and legacy .NET Framework versions- Understanding of financial products and markets, web services, and code analysis tools- Bachelors degree or higher with experience in large-scale technology delivery projects- Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and excel in a high-performance team- Passion for creating innovative solutions for customersNote: Please ignore if you have appeared for a Dotnet SQL Interview with the company in the last 6 months.[Additional Details: The culture at FNZ is centered around growth, teamwork, and values that drive the company forward.
