As a Lead - Technology, your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications using Java 8 and following Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) best practices. You will be responsible for building, deploying, and optimizing microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud. Additionally, you will implement efficient multithreading, work extensively with collections, and utilize core Java APIs to ensure high code quality through code reviews, adherence to standards, and continuous improvement. Collaboration with teams to define architectural guidelines and technical solutions will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. You will also work with PostgreSQL, implement Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) solutions using Hibernate and Java Persistence API (JPA), participate in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, utilize Gradle, Git, and work in containerized environments.
