Manager - Data Analytics

Job Description

As a Manager - Data Analytics at Pinkerton, you will play a crucial role in developing the data model and conducting data profiling to deliver high-quality data sets. Your responsibilities will include:- Representing Pinkertons core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.- Designing dashboards using any visualization platform.- Developing, implementing, and maintaining a data warehouse to collate and integrate data from various sources within the organization.- Interacting with SMEs and architects to validate alignment of the data model with project technology.- Defining the data dictionary/business glossary based on the developed model.- Recommending opportunities for reuse of data models in new environments.- Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and meta-data.- Following best practices for standard naming conventions and coding practices for consistency of data models.- Creating complex stored procedures, views, and data aggregation/manipulation techniques.- Analyzing and translating business needs into long-term solution data models.- Providing technical documentation and coaching for project stakeholders.- Performing any other assigned duties.Qualifications required for this role include:- At least 9 years of hands-on experience in data modeling, visualization, and managing large databases.- B TECH/MCA degree preferably in IT, Computer Science from a recognized University.- Advanced Power BI Skills with proficiency in creating complex DAX measures and leveraging visualizations for compelling data storytelling.- Technical strength in relational databases and design approaches.- Practical experience in loading database tables and building Fabric-based data lakes.- Expertise in SQL server, Azure/Azure Data Bricks and Python preferred.- Familiarity with the Power Platform ecosystem.- Experience in creating AI agents is a valuable asset.- Skilled in database design, data modeling, and developing impactful visualizations.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to project needs.In addition to the above, please note that Pinkerton is an equal opportunity employer, embracing diversity and inclusion, and does not discriminate based on various factors as mentioned in the job description.
