Team member (DM / Manager) for Payable Accounting

As a Team member (DM / Manager) for Payable Accounting in the Order 2 Cash O2C (Sales Accounting) department, your main responsibilities will include:- Fundamental knowledge of payables accounting principles, accounting standards, and tax laws to ensure compliance with applicable statutory requirements.- Reviewing and processing payments of invoices through the Accounts Payable (AP Module) of ERP/SAP.- Verifying payment documents received from Business Users for completeness and adequacy of supporting as per internal control standards, and ensuring compliance with GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory compliances like MSME.- Processing and documenting foreign payments such as ocean freight.- Conducting monthly and quarterly AP closing activities in compliance with accounting standards, including preparation of required schedules, and coordinating statutory and internal audits for all assigned work areas.- Contributing to the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives across the team.In this role, you will report to the Departmental Head DPM (O2C) and your position level can be either DM or Manager in the Payable Module. The qualifications required for this position are as follows:- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)/ Cost & Work Accountant (CWA) with 3 to 7 years of experience.- Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)/ Cost & Work Accountant (CWA) with 12 to 15 years of experience.- Fundamental knowledge of accounting standards and taxation laws, including GST and income tax.- Hands-on experience in operating the AP module of ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.- Good knowledge of ERP systems, advanced excel skills, and a strong focus on Automation and Digitalization.Please note that the company may have additional details that are not mentioned in the job description provided.
