Job Description

    You will be an integral part of the Bakery department as a Bakery Commis 3, reporting to the Head Baker, Pastry Chef, or Bakery Supervisor. Your main responsibilities will revolve around assisting in the preparation and production of various bakery items with a focus on maintaining recipe adherence and high standards of cleanliness and organization. Your passion for baking, willingness to learn, and ability to work effectively in a team will be key to excelling in this role.- Prepare doughs, batters, fillings, and icings following established recipes- Ensure accurate measurement and mixing of ingredients for consistency- Operate bakery equipment under supervision- Bake a variety of products, decorate and finish baked goods- Monitor baking processes and inspect product quality- Maintain cleanliness in workstations and storage areas- Basic understanding of baking techniques and ingredients- Prior experience in a bakery or culinary setting is beneficial but not mandatory- Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and good organizational skills- Effective communication and teamwork capabilities- Flexibility to work different shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasksA high school diploma or equivalent is required, and culinary or baking courses are advantageous. Working conditions may involve a fast-paced environment with exposure to heat, humidity, and flour dust, requiring you to handle hot equipment and sharp tools.
