Job Description

    As a Contract Manager at IHG Hotels & Resorts, you will be responsible for supporting drafting of various procurement contracts and contracting activities related to sourcing events for the global procurement sourcing teams and category teams. Your role will involve understanding complex risk issues such as privacy, data access, information security, and choice of appropriate transaction forms. You will support contract negotiations to ensure that contract terms reflect desired commercial and legal positions. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal team members from various departments to align on contract terms.Your key responsibilities will include:- Supporting the sourcing teams in evaluating redlined supplier contracts- Providing initial review and analysis of current agreements for legal review- Utilizing contract management software to draft contracts and access contract records- Participating in risk mitigation efforts- Escalating delegation of authority and/or risk issues when necessaryKey Shared Accountabilities:- Managing a large pipeline of commercial contract transactions- Focusing on compliance and risk mitigation- Escalating compliance issues and delegation of authority issues when encounteredKey Metrics:- Risk assessment and issue identification- Strong understanding of contracts for goods and services- Strong contract drafting skills- Capabilities to analyze contracts- Strong attention to detail and accuracy- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Ability to manage multiple contract transactions simultaneously while prioritizing deadlines- Strong organizational skills- Risk mitigationIn terms of qualifications, you should have:- Undergraduate or post-graduate degree in contracts and contract management, procurement, and/or law- At least 5 years of experience as a contract manager negotiating and drafting commercial contracts- Experience managing and running a large pipeline of commercial contracting projects- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail- Demonstrated understanding of procurement processes- Excellent Microsoft Office skills and procurement S2C systems- Excellent communication skillsAbout IHG Hotels & Resorts:IHG Hotels & Resorts is committed to delivering True Hospitality for Good on a global scale.
