Job Description

Committed to delivering high-quality products to customers, the company emphasizes innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence.As the Supply Planning Center of Excellence (COE) Lead at Apollo Tyres, you will be instrumental in driving best-in-class supply planning practices globally. Your role involves developing and sustaining supply planning capabilities, ensuring governance, and promoting the adoption of standardized processes and tools. Collaboration with regional SCM planning teams, sales, marketing, finance, and extended supply chain functions is essential to deliver superior supply planning processes, customer service, and inventory levels.Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing a comprehensive Supply Planning COE strategy aligned with global supply chain objectives, leading the design and continuous improvement of supply planning processes, systems, and tools, and providing expertise and training to regional teams on supply planning methodologies. Navigating a complex cross-functional environment, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve common goals and address integration challenges between processes and products.Monitoring and enhancing key planning KPIs such as service levels, forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and capacity utilization will be crucial. Additionally, you will lead root-cause analysis, corrective action planning for supply issues, and ensure successful adoption of advanced planning solutions and digital tools.Maintaining internal and external relationships with functional heads, managers, project stakeholders, OE partners, and vendors is vital. The ideal candidate should have at least 7 years of experience in supply planning or related roles within a global manufacturing environment, a strong understanding of supply planning processes, statistical modeling, and forecasting techniques, and experience with supply planning tools and data visualization tools. Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to drive business performance through technology and analytics.This role presents challenges such as stakeholder management, process revamping, agile ecosystem adoption, change management, and integrating technology into current processes. A masters degree or MBA from a reputed institute is preferred, with a bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Technology. Your strategic acumen, collaboration skills, and ability to influence in a matrixed organization will be key to success in this role.,
