    ob Description: Mother Teacher for Grade 1 & 2Position Title: Mother Teacher (Grade 1 & 2)Location: Euro International School, Sector 84Job Summary: Euro International School is looking for a dedicated and passionate Mother Teacher for Grades 1 and 2. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and dynamic classroom environment that promotes the academic, social, and emotional development of young children. As a Mother Teacher, you will be the primary educator for your students, ensuring that they receive personalized attention and encouragement to thrive academically and personally.Key Responsibilities: Classroom Instruction: Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons in core subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage students and accommodate diverse learning styles. Implement a balanced curriculum that fosters cognitive, emotional, and physical development. Develop individual learning plans and monitor each childs progress. Student Management: Create a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment. Establish clear rules and expectations for student behavior and ensure they are followed consistently. Provide guidance and mentorship to students, helping them build confidence and social skills. Communicate with parents about student progress, behavior, and any areas requiring attention. Assessment and Reporting: Regularly assess student performance through informal and formal methods, including quizzes, assignments, and project-based work. Prepare and maintain accurate records of student assessments, attendance, and behavior. Provide feedback to students in a constructive and motivating manner. Write periodic progress reports for parents and attend parent-teacher meetings. Collaboration and Professional Development: Work closely with fellow teachers and school staff to ensure a consistent and collaborative approach to teaching. Attend school meetings, professional development workshops, and training sessions to stay updated on the latest educational practices and methodologies. Participate in school events and extracurricular activities to foster a strong school community. Child-Centered Approach: Focus on the individual needs of each student and provide differentiated instruction where necessary. Foster a safe and nurturing environment that supports the emotional well-being of students. Encourage students to develop curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Education (B.Ed) or a related field. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience teaching Grade 1 and 2 students, preferably in an international school setting. Strong knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching strategies. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. A compassionate and patient attitude, with a passion for working with young children. Proficiency in using technology for teaching and assessment purposes.Preferred Skills: Experience in using modern teaching tools and techniques. Familiarity with project-based learning and creative teaching methods.
