Job Description

As a Principal Engineer (Backend-Java) at Freecharge, a subsidiary of Axis Bank Limited, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of architecture and design of systems. With 8-12 years of experience and a background in Bachelors/Masters in Software Engineering, you will be part of a dynamic and creative team revolutionizing Financial Products through technology.Your responsibilities will include functionally decomposing complex problems into simple solutions, leveraging internal and industry knowledge in design decisions, and taking end-to-end ownership with passion. You will exert technical influence over multiple teams, sharing your deep knowledge and experience to enhance productivity and effectiveness. Additionally, you will be responsible for building performant, scalable, and secure enterprise-ready back end architectures, leading the design and development of products in collaboration with the business team.The ideal candidate for this role should have at least 7 years of software development experience with Enterprise Java, Spring, and ORM Frameworks. You should also possess strong experience in data structures & algorithms, agile environments, and designing high traffic, highly scalable microservices-based architectures.
