Job Description

This is a dynamic, entrepreneurial team with a passion for the markets, with individuals who thrive in fast-paced, changing environments and are energized by a bustling trading floor.The Volex trading group is responsible for market-making and trading of a variety of interest rate products, including swaptions and other exotics, on the major developed markets (JPY, AUD, EUR and USD). The team has a very broad range of responsibilities, such as risk managing the existing portfolio and structuring trades to custom-fit the needs of our clients. In particular, the flow trading team has a primary focus on the market making and risk management of flow/vanilla volatility products in JPY and AUD. The main customer base includes but is not limited to banks, insurance companies, money managers, hedge funds, and corporate clients.Responsibilities:

Market making for Interest Rate Swaptions and other Volex products
Trade idea generation, risk monitoring, and trade execution
Risk management of existing portfolios and new trades
Coordinating with Strategists, Sales, Structuring, Federation, and other teams to refine strategies and drive business initiatives
Work closely and collaboratively within a team to deliver results at the highest standards

Required Qualifications:

Relevant Bachelors degree in a quantitative field with an excellent academic record
Knowledge of risk management, trade execution, and derivative models
Ability to thrive and perform in a challenging and high-pressure environments
Attention to detail
Excellent communications skills and a demonstrated ability to perform highly in a team
Strong problem-solving skills with a keen ability to think critically in evolving market conditions
Strong technical/analytical/quantitative skills
Solid work ethic and high level of motivation

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in VBA preferred but not required
Proficiency in Japanese will be a plus
