As an Associate - Next Gen Forecasting, you will play a vital role in evolving Amgens forecasting processes by incorporating Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning capabilities to enhance financial planning, reporting, and data processes.Key Responsibilities:- Support the implementation of real-time/continuous forecasting capabilities- Establish baseline analyses and define current and future states using traditional approaches and emerging digital technologies- Identify areas for automation/AI/ML implementation to improve forecasting processes- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and support business objectives- Serve as the local financial systems and financial data subject matter expert- Support global finance teams and business partners with financial reporting tools such as Tableau and AnaplanQualifications Required:Basic Qualifications:- Bachelors degree and 0 to 3 years of Finance experience OR Diploma and 4 to 7 years of Finance experience- Proficiency in data analytics and business intelligence tools- Experience with finance reporting and planning system technologies- Knowledge of financial management and accounting principles- Resourceful individual with the ability to connect the dots across a matrixed organizationPreferred Qualifications:- Experience in pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry- Knowledge of advanced financial modeling techniques- Experience with ERP systems and financial planning, analysis, and reporting- Soft Skills: Excellent project management abilities, communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving capabilities, ability to influence and drive change, adaptability to a dynamic environment, and strong organizational skillsJoin Amgen in transforming the lives of patients while enhancing your career.
