Job Description

    Job Location: Pan India permanent work From home Role Value Proposition: The Advanced Data Analytics Engineer will use their analytics, asset management, and big data expertise to help mature MetLifes Security Posture Analytics capabilities by designing, building, and maintaining dashboards and reports that focus on infrastructure asset and vulnerability management. Key Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with vulnerability management team and other stakeholders to define new analysis and reporting requirements.
    • Lead project to enrich internal (Metlife-hosted) asset and vulnerability data
    • Aggregate assets and associated details from all sources / tools and maintain a complete MetLife asset inventory
    • Dynamically assign vulnerability attributes based on various factors including vulnerable product, asset ownership, and location
    • Perform gap analyses between various upstream and downstream sources of record for vulnerability and asset data, automatically update records in those systems, and communicate gaps to system owners when needed
    • Enhance reports that show the full security posture of each asset
    Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
    • Bachelor s degree in computer science, information systems or related field, or equivalent work experience
    • Extensive data analysis experience
    • Expert experience with Splunk (data ingestion, searches, dashboards, reports), and/or expert experience with Python scripting and data science libraries (e.g. Pandas) with ability to quickly learn Splunk
    • Strong coding skills, particularly Python and Web development technologies (CSS, JavaScript, and/or HTML)
    • Ability to delegate tasks to more junior team members when possible and oversee completion of tasks
    Preferred
    • Enterprise asset management experience
    • Proficiency with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and/or Windows server environments
    • Familiarity with vulnerability management tools and processesRoles and Responsibilities
