Job Description

Role Overview:Adani Total Gas Limited (ATGL) is seeking a Stores In-Charge to manage inventory operations within a specific geographical area. Reporting to the Geographical Area Head, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and supporting procurement and logistics functions.Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet operational demands, ensuring availability for laying/construction needs.- Implement inventory control procedures to maintain accurate records and conduct regular checks and audits.- Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of materials and optimize inventory turnover.- Collaborate with the TechnoCommercial team to forecast inventory needs and evaluate supplier performance.- Coordinate with logistics providers for timely delivery, oversee receiving/storage/distribution, and implement return procedures.- Provide guidance and support to the inventory management team, conduct performance evaluations, and identify training opportunities.- Prepare reports on inventory levels, turnover rates, and key metrics for review, analyze data, and maintain documentation for audits.Qualification Required:- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. Masters degree (MBA) preferred.- 1 year of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or logistics, preferably in a regional or multi-site setting.- Experience in gas distribution, oil and energy, utilities, or related sectors with a focus on inventory management and supply chain operations.
