Job Description

As a candidate for the role, you will be responsible for the following:Role Overview:- You will be tasked with inspecting and commissioning equipment based on site requirements.- Your duties will include overseeing the operation and maintenance of the equipment fleet.- It will be your responsibility to manage periodic, scheduled, and repair maintenance.- You are expected to prepare a maintenance activity list and ensure all activities are completed within the scheduled time.- Your role will involve inventory planning to maximize equipment availability.- Conducting technical training for O&M agencies crew and equipment users will be part of your responsibilities.- You will need to coordinate with users to ensure the smooth functioning of equipment as per their requirements.- Resolving operation and maintenance related issues by coordinating with users is crucial.- Adherence to all safety procedures during P&M operations is mandatory.- Documenting and implementing maintenance checklists for all P & M equipment is also part of the role.Key Responsibilities:- Inspection & commissioning of equipment as per the site requirements- Operation & Maintenance of equipment fleet- Periodic, schedule & repair maintenance- Preparation of maintenance activity list and ensuring timely completion- Inventory planning & maximizing equipment availability- Conducting technical training for O&M agencies crew & equipment users- Coordinating with users for smooth equipment functioning- Resolving operation and maintenance related issues with users- Adhering to all Safety Procedures during P&M Operations- Documenting and implementing maintenance checklists for all P & M equipment- Other duties as assignedQualifications Required:- Technical know-how to handle technical matters of P&M in terms of Operations, Maintenance, Spare Parts Management, etc.- Management of manpower for operation and maintenance of equipment at the site- Knowledge of Safety as well as Quality Policies- Good knowledge of equipment maintenance scheduling and spares- Strong verbal and writing skills, with regards to contractual communication- Knowledge of SAP, MS-OfficeIn addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, the educational qualification required for this role is a B.E or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. The necessary experience includes more than 6 years for B.E and 9 years for a diploma engineer in Operations and Maintenance of Construction Equipment. Desirable qualifications include work experience in large Construction/Contracting Companies in the same capacity, preferably in the Oil & Gas and heavy industry/basic industry sectors.,
