Job Description

    Current Opening @ RSPL Group based at Kanpur.Required Senior Manager/AGM Accounts -Financial Controller (Qualified CA)KRAs1. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting working in coordination with the Back-Office lead/team2. Ensure timely and accurate completion of month end closing activities, generating trial balance, analysing the charts of accounts (group function)3. Accountable for timely & accurate completion of cost allocations / month-end accounting & reporting /FA- Depreciation and Asset Management4. Adherence to the accounting standard applicable regulatory requirements5. Completion of types of audits (Statutory, Internal & Income Tax, Service tax) within time6. Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controlsBusiness Partnering Role1. Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all other enabling functions to business2. Ensure. preparation of MIS reports for providing feedback to top management for controlling performances3. Ensure budgetary controls as well as effectiveness of spends/investments including business case analysis4.Evaluate all the financial decisions related to business and influencing the actions in order to ensure they are financially robust5. Engages the Board, Strategic Partners and appropriate committees around financial issues, trends and changes in the operating model6. Validate variances and trends; contribute on new business opportunities, cost reduction efforts7. Develop, implement and maintain a system for measuring the financial and operating performance of the company, each department and the deviation from budgets, including sales, revenues and project, gross and net profit margins8. Responsible for the financial controlling area of the unit for accurate actuals, forecasting and budget9. Responsible for preparation/management/reporting of monthly BU P&L E Drive cost management discussions with the business leads10. Perform analytical reviews of financial data with detailed analysis11. Work on all reports and presentations to support business needsSuggested Competencies:1. Chartered Accountant E Minimum 10-11 years of finance experience in a large organization including business partnering experience, experience in Commercial set up in FMCG a must have and stint in factory will be good to have2. Strong compliance orientation with ability to drive simplicity within a complex and matrix environment E Advanced Excel skills (big data manipulation)3. Strong ability, expertise and/or aptitude to work with financial systems, policies and tools4. Demonstrated experience in problem solving and project management with proven ability to drive projects and analysis to closure5. Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple groups, responsive with strong customer service orientation,
