Job Description

    You are a Senior Backend Developer with some full stack experience who will be joining the engineering team. Your main focus will be on building scalable software solutions using Node.js and NestJS. As a crucial member of the team, your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining both backend services and frontend applications.Key responsibilities will involve architecting and developing robust backend services using the NestJS framework, designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices, creating and maintaining frontend applications using modern JavaScript frameworks, optimizing application performance and scalability, leading technical discussions, mentoring junior developers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing security best practices, and ensuring HIPAA compliance.To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of professional software development experience. You must have strong expertise in Node.js and the NestJS framework, proven experience with TypeScript and JavaScript, a solid understanding of frontend technologies and frameworks, database design and optimization experience, as well as experience with cloud services such as AWS/GCP/Azure. Experience in E-commerce/Quick commerce is an added advantage.Your technical skills should include expertise in backend development with Node.js and NestJS, proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, experience in RESTful API design and implementation, knowledge of microservices architecture, database management (SQL and NoSQL), and familiarity with message queuing systems like RabbitMQ/Redis. In frontend development, you should have experience with React/Angular/Vue.js, HTML5, CSS3, modern JavaScript, state management tools like Redux/Vuex/NgRx, responsive web design, and frontend build tools and bundlers.Additional technical requirements include proficiency in version control with Git, Docker and containerization, CI/CD pipelines, unit testing and TDD, API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI, and adherence to security best practices. Preferred qualifications involve familiarity with agile methodologies, experience with GraphQL, understanding of cloud architecture patterns, and experience in real-time applications using WebSockets.In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead in a growing technology startup, shape technical architecture, receive a competitive salary and benefits package, and access professional development opportunities.
