As a Commis 2 Chef, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and presentation of continental dishes, ensuring that high standards of quality and hygiene are maintained. This position is ideal for someone with 3 years of experience in a similar role who is passionate about Continental cuisine and eager to contribute to a dynamic kitchen environment.Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and cooking of Continental dishes according to menu specifications and standards. Ensure that all dishes are prepared with attention to detail, taste, and presentation. Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in the kitchen. Collaborate with senior chefs to develop and refine recipes and menu items. Monitor ingredient stock levels and assist in inventory management. Follow proper procedures for storing and handling food items. Support the team in various kitchen duties, including mise en place and clean-up. Contribute to the overall efficiency and smooth operation of the kitchen.Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Commis Chef or in a similar role with a focus on Continental cuisine. Proficient in a variety of cooking techniques and methods relevant to Continental dishes. Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong teamwork and communication skills.Preferred Skills: Experience with a wide range of Continental cuisine, including both classic and contemporary dishes.
