Design Engineer (Electrical Services)

Job Description

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role within the global engineering groups Electrical design team. Your responsibilities will involve utilizing your technical knowledge to develop innovative engineering designs for Wireline Systems, Wellhead Pressure Control Equipment, and machinery. Working under the guidance of the Principal Engineer, you will be involved in designing hydraulic, pneumatic, or electromechanical systems using advanced CAD tools. Your role will also require you to take on challenges, enhance your skills, and contribute to the teams efficiency and performance.**Key Responsibilities:**- Apply technical knowledge to innovate, design, and develop customized customer-centric designs- Conduct Electrical Engineering design, analysis, testing, and validation activities- Plan and lead small to medium-sized projects under supervision- Prepare and review engineering documents such as drawings, technical illustrations, manuals, reports, and calculations- Participate in sales contract reviews and internal design meetings- Ensure deliverables meet client requirements and contract specifications- Implement Engineering Change procedures to enhance business efficiency- Support in resolving Engineering queries and stay updated with industry developments- Maintain accurate project records and adhere to required schedules- Provide support to other departments and business units as needed- Travel globally for client meetings, site installations, commissioning, and testing support**Qualifications Required:**- Working knowledge of Eplan- Understanding of engineering documents and drawings- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, PLM/PDM data systems, and 3D CAD- Experience in leading Electrical design projects within multi-disciplinary teams- Ability to design and troubleshoot Electromechanical systems- Minimum qualification of Degree Level in Electrical or related Engineering- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook- Familiarity with design codes in The Energy Industry and operations related to Wireline Intervention and completion methodsThe company you will be working for is a global family of companies focused on providing technical expertise, advanced equipment, and operational support to the oil and gas industry.
