Job Description

    As an Engineer / Senior Engineer - QA at CogniCor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of products through various quality engineering practices. Your responsibilities will include:- Reviewing and validating requirements and technical specifications.- Developing and executing test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements and/or customer conversations.- Documenting results and offering observations or improvements after analyzing test results and overall product quality.- Collaborating with the development team on bug fix verification and validation (regression testing).- Communicating professionally at all levels within and outside of the organization.- Supporting, designing, developing, and enhancing test processes and reporting for QA processes.- Managing testing efforts across 1-2 projects under tight deadlines.- Representing CogniCor values to other associates and clients.- Requiring familiarity with at least one programming language and the ability to code, debug, and analyze code for test automation purposes.**Must Have Competencies:**- Experience in Agile Development environments.- Familiarity with Agile Software Development Methodologies.- Experience with automated testing tools or equivalent automation skills.- Experience with web-based application testing.- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and provide solutions.- Identifying, communicating, and escalating issues as required.- Being a team player and self-starter who will work side by side with the development team.- Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.**Good To Have Competencies:**- Knowledge of software testing/performance testing tools.- Knowledge in AI-based platforms/products.**Qualifications:**- BTech/MTech/MCA/MSc in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.- 2 - 6 years of relevant experience in QA.- Strong skills in Quality Engineering and Quality Control.- Experience in Quality Assurance and Product Quality.- Proficiency in Quality Management principles and practices.- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.- Ability to work independently and in a hybrid work environment.- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.- Experience in the financial services sector is a plus.,
