Job Description

You will be working as a Service Engineer at Popular Group, a pioneer in the automobile business in Kerala with over seven decades of experience. As a Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the sales and service of vehicles, with the opportunity to grow into managerial positions within the group.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Washing**: Understand and execute different types of washing procedures while maintaining high-quality standards.- **Front Office**: Manage customer reception, interact as a service advisor, generate necessary documents like R/O GDMS, GSW, and ensure customer satisfaction.- **Customer Management**: Schedule appointments, follow up post-service, handle complaints, enhance dealer programs, conduct service campaigns, and ensure customer satisfaction.- **Workshop**: Oversee floor operations, conduct periodic maintenance, lead morning meetings, ensure general cleanliness, manage job controllers, maintain equipment, and perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI).- **Store**: Handle procurement procedures, manage stock inventory, store warranty items, and maintain stock registers.- **Warranty**: Understand warranty policies, process warranty claims, and follow claim procedures.- **Body and Paint Section**: Maintain paint quality standards and ensure proper use of tools and equipment.- **General**: Manage standby generating set, cafeteria, lunchroom, dressing room, service manuals, bulletins, and account section.**Qualifications Required:**- Fresh candidates with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering.- No backlogs or arrears in academics.- Good communication skills in English and Malayalam.- Valid 2 & 4 wheeler driving license.Upon successful completion of the training program, your performance will determine your confirmation for the position.**Additional Company Details:**Popular Group is the No.1 Hyundai car dealer in Kerala, known for its state-of-the-art 3S service facility, numerous showrooms, and service centers across the state.
