Job Description

As an Advanced Analyst in the Business Valuations team at EY, you will be responsible for supporting business valuation engagements for clients across the MENA region as part of EYs Valuation, Modelling & Economics (VME) team. Your key responsibilities will include:- Assisting in the preparation and development of valuation models for various purposes such as financial reporting, feasibility studies, and corporate transactions.- Demonstrating capability to independently lead discrete workstreams within a valuation project, including model development, data analysis, and documentation under supervision.- Collaborating closely with onshore teams, serving as a key support resource in project execution and timely delivery of client deliverables.- Contributing to client presentations and valuation reports under the guidance of senior team members.- Providing research support related to industry trends, comparable companies, transaction multiples, and other inputs used in valuation analysis.- Demonstrating solid technical understanding of valuation principles and continuously learning and applying new concepts.- Leveraging available tools and technologies to improve work efficiency and maintain high-quality deliverables.- Working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment that emphasizes knowledge sharing, respect, and continuous development.- Supporting other Strategy and Transactions sub-service lines on multidisciplinary engagements when needed.- Participating in internal initiatives, training sessions, and team-building activities to foster professional growth.To qualify for this role, you must have:- CA / ACCA / CFA or MBA in Finance (preferably from a premier institute) with a good academic background.- 1 to 3 years of related work experience.- Prior experience in a similar role at a Big 4 firm or with a top-tier venture capital, investment bank, or national accounting firm.- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.- High degree of professionalism, reliability, and adaptability.- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and self-development.- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Word.- Availability to travel outside of your assigned office location at least 50% of the time.- Willingness to commute within the region to other GDS locations on a short or long-term basis, whenever required.At EY, we are building a better working world by creating new value for our clients, people, society, and the planet.
