Job Description

    As an Instructional Designer Associate at EY, you will have the opportunity to support the design of individual learning items and blended learning programs. Your role will involve participating in Skills Needs Analysis (SNA) conversations, drafting learning objectives, preparing Design Specifications, and independently reviewing learning design against EY Learning Design Quality Checklist. You will collaborate with other designers and learning professionals to enhance design and development speed, efficiency, and quality. Additionally, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with content owners, Subject Matter Reviewers (SMRs), and other stakeholders.**Key Responsibilities:**- Participate in Skills Needs Analysis (SNA) conversations and document key points.- Assist in leading SNA conversations and draft learning objectives based on completed SNA.- Prepare Design Specifications and review learning design against EY Learning Design Quality Checklist.- Draft deliverables such as leader guides, participant materials, storyboards, and video scripts based on Design specifications.- Write assessments and practice questions, ensuring content flow, accuracy, language, and adherence to standards.- Liaise with SMRs for technical reviews and review storyboards against EY Learning Design Quality Checklist.- Demonstrate proficiency in using rapid authoring tools like Articulate Storyline and Rise for self-study programs.- Communicate effectively with team members, graphic designers, and stakeholders.- Adapt to new design recommendations, embrace learning opportunities, and seek mentorship from senior team members.**Skills and Attributes for Success:**- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Ability to adapt in a changing business environment.- Good problem-solving skills with a customer service-focused mindset.- Proactive in seeking growth opportunities and learning from senior team members.**Qualifications Required:**- 1 to 4 years of experience in designing courses and learning items.- Experience in designing effective learning solutions across different modalities.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and basic knowledge of rapid authoring tools.- Ability to work in fast-paced environments to deliver required results.At EY, we are dedicated to building a better working world by creating long-term value for clients, people, and society.
