IT Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description

As an IT Infrastructure Engineer with over 7 years of experience, your primary focus will be on designing, operating, building, implementing, and supporting reliable and secure connectivity solutions for Employees and Customers. You will also be responsible for building automation to prevent problem recurrence. Your key responsibilities will include:- Supporting network and network security technologies with 6-10 years of experience- Deploying LANs, WANs, SDWAN, VPN, and Wireless networks in Corporate and Enterprise environment- Hands-on experience with Firewall, Router, L2/L3 switches, Wireless, load balancers, proxies, DLP, Site to site and employee VPN, Secure access service edge (SASE) and zero trust network access (ZTNA), EDR/XDR- In-depth knowledge of cloud technology (Azure/AWS/GCP) and DevOps- Experience in working with On-Prem IT Infrastructure and in Data Center Environment- Collaborating with different functions like Employee experience, Network Operations and Engineering, Project and Business group, Real Estate team- Working with Hardware and Software vendors, service providers, Experience on RFI/RFP/SOW- Excellent documentation skills to create runbook and process documents, accurate network diagrams- Implementation of ITIL and ITSM- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system problems- Identifying opportunities to automate responses with tools like AI, Ansible, python, zero touch provisioning- Ensuring compliance, configuration, and data quality levels are maintained- Working with Agile team to deliver network and security solutions- Participating in transitioning solutions successfully into the customer environment- Strong oral and written technical and interpersonal communication skills- A self-starter comfortable working independently or in a team environment- Willingness to perform on-call duties after hours and on weekends, on rotation, occasional overtime activities during scheduled maintenance windowsQualifications Required:- Full-time Bachelors or advanced degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalentPreferred Skills (optional):- CCNP/ CCIE or equivalent- Network / Security monitoring tools such as: SNMP, MTRG, Prometheus, and Grafana- Technical understanding and practical application of security support- Technical understanding and practical application of DevOps- Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery & Deployment Tools- Network as Code strategy- Familiarity with IaaS/PaaS/SaaS infrastructure/environments- Integration technologies (APIs) As an IT Infrastructure Engineer with over 7 years of experience, your primary focus will be on designing, operating, building, implementing, and supporting reliable and secure connectivity solutions for Employees and Customers.
