Job Description

    You will be responsible for providing technical support and managing retail systems across 5 locations in Ernakulam, including 1 Hypermarket and 4 Supermarkets. Your role will involve troubleshooting hardware issues, resolving network problems, and supporting software applications for billing and inventory.Additionally, you will be required to update pricing and promotions in POS systems, generate sales reports, and train staff on system usage. Procurement and maintenance tasks will include sourcing IT equipment, coordinating with vendors for repairs, and maintaining the IT asset register.To qualify for this position, you must have at least 3 years of IT experience in the retail sector, specifically in a hypermarket or supermarket environment. Your technical skills should include proficiency in POS software such as SAP Retail, Marg, or Tally, basic networking knowledge like TCP/IP and router configurations, and intermediate Excel skills including pivot tables and formulas.Moreover, you should possess soft skills such as patience in training non-technical staff and the ability to problem-solve efficiently under pressure, especially during system failures in peak hours. This is a full-time, permanent role with the benefit of provided food on-site. The work location is in person.,
