Job Description

    Role Overview:As a Java API Microservices Integration Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and integrating scalable and secure APIs using Java-based microservices and RESTful API design. Your expertise in backend development and microservices architecture will be essential in collaborating with solution architects and front-end developers to ensure seamless integration with external systems and UI components. Additionally, you will work with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines to deploy and monitor services, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to system design decisions.Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices and RESTful APIs.- Collaborate with solution architects and front-end developers to integrate APIs with external systems and UI components.- Implement best practices for API security, versioning, documentation, and testing.- Integrate third-party services and internal applications using REST/SOAP APIs, message brokers, or event-driven architectures.- Utilize Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and other relevant frameworks for microservices development.- Work with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines to deploy and monitor services.- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and performance bottlenecks.- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following Agile development practices.- Contribute to system design and architectural decisions.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- 4 years of professional experience in Java backend development.- Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and related technologies.- Solid experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.- Familiarity with API documentation tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI.- Experience with microservices architecture, service registry, and load balancing.- Experience with message queues and event-driven systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).- Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).- Understanding of OAuth2, JWT, and API security best practices.Additional Details:Our client is a top 5 Software giant in India with over 11.3 USD billion dollars revenue and a global workforce of 2,40,000 employees.
