Job Description

    As a seasoned Lead Data Engineer with over 7 years of experience, primarily focused on Python and writing complex SQL queries in PostgreSQL, you will be responsible for developing and managing complex data solutions. Your role will involve working both as an individual contributor and as the lead of a team, delivering end-to-end data solutions. You should possess the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues efficiently, ensuring data security and compliance with relevant regulations. Additionally, you will lead a small team of 2-3 data engineers, maintaining comprehensive documentation of data solutions, workflows, and processes.Your responsibilities will include proactively communicating with customers and team members to provide guidance aligned with both short-term and long-term customer needs. You should have experience working on at least 3 to 4 end-to-end data engineering projects and adhere to company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations in all duties.In terms of skills and competencies, you are expected to have deep expertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries in PostgreSQL, proficiency in Python scripting for data manipulation and automation, and familiarity with AWS services like Lambda and Step Functions. Knowledge of building semantic data layers between applications and backend databases, integrating data into Salesforce, and understanding its data architecture is highly beneficial. Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, along with the ability to build and test data processes integrating with external applications using REST API and SOAP calls, are essential. Knowledge of real-time data processing and integration techniques, as well as strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members, are also required.
