Job Description

    As a Lead Java Developer at Infopark, Kochi, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend services and APIs for healthcare applications. Your role is crucial in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of the systems.Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop backend systems using Java, preferably Java 8.- Create scalable APIs that seamlessly integrate with frontend and third-party systems.- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.- Maintain code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.- Contribute to Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning and reviews.- Document technical specifications, workflows, and development processes.- Provide mentorship to junior developers and lead technical discussions as needed.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in Java development.- Proficiency in Spring Framework, particularly Spring Boot.- Experience in RESTful API development and microservices architecture.- Strong understanding of Hibernate, SQL, and Relational Databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and performance tuning.- Knowledge of secure coding practices and error handling mechanisms.In addition to the above qualifications, good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential.Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in healthcare, insurance, or SaaS-based domains.- Familiarity with FHIR standards, ABDM, or NHCX is advantageous.- Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.,
