Job Description

    As a Database Developer or PL/SQL Developer at PracticeSuite, you will be primarily focused on Oracle database technologies, specifically Oracle 10g/11g. Your role will involve designing stable, reliable, and effective database programs to ensure that data processing production systems meet user needs. You will be responsible for PL/SQL and SQL tuning and optimization of both newly developed and existing applications. Data analysis and validation will also be a key part of your responsibilities.You will leverage Oracle 10g/11g features to their fullest on a large-scale system and be tasked with identifying performance issues on production and testing systems. Interacting with internal and external clients to understand requirements, explain issues, and prioritize work will be essential. You will be involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle and should demonstrate the ability to learn both business processes and new/existing PL/SQL. Basic knowledge of Oracle database architecture is required along with advanced database development experience in Oracle SQL/PLSQL.Your role will also require knowledge of software development, strong SQL development, SQL analytics, and tuning skills. Excellent analytical and organizational skills are crucial, as well as the ability to understand front-end users requirements and possess a problem-solving attitude. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, will be necessary for effective collaboration.This position is based in Kochi and requires 5-8 years of experience in the field.
